Entries are judged by a panel of industry experts, and only commercialised, real-world products are eligible — meaning every winning design is already in use on real shelves, not just a concept.

Award-Winning Innovation #1: The Precision Dropper-Tube

High-potency skincare — serums, spot treatments, actives — is traditionally packaged in glass dropper bottles. Glass is heavy to ship, fragile, and relies on a separate rubber-bulb dropper that adds cost and can introduce hygiene issues over time.

Meliora’s tube-based dropper system solves this by integrating the dropper mechanism directly into a flexible tube. Meliora’s ergonomic dome flip-top cap addresses this directly with a distinctive rounded silhouette and an integrated, elongated grip notch engineered specifically for anti-slip control. It enables secure one-handed opening, dispensing, and closing — even under running water.

Solving a real packaging design problem

This is the first dome-shaped flip-top cap of its kind developed and tooled locally in India, reducing dependence on imported cap tooling while giving brands a premium, shelf-differentiating shape. It’s currently used across the Fix My Curls haircare range.
